I’ve had the pleasure of enlisting Ernie’s services as a recruiter since 1999. He works hard at understanding the requirements of both the hiring client and the job seeker and does a great job at finding the right match between the two. One of his best assets is encouraging open lines of communication, which is to say that he is able to both skillfully convey information and listen to (and understand) the parties he with whom he interacts. One often overlooked offshoot of effective communication involves eliciting feedback from the hiring clients. Ernie is fully aware of the importance of this feedback and always tries to secure this information for his job seekers so that they may be in a better position to market themselves for future job opportunities. Whenever I need to look for a new job, I make sure that Ernie is among the first who I call.
