BENEFITS AND RETIREMENT

The following is a list of some of the benefits offered to full‐time employees of Gerard Group:

  • Medical Insurance

Employees have four medical plans to choose from—Anthem Blue Cross and Kaiser. All medical plans include prescription

drug benefits. Employee contributions are deducted from bi‐weekly paychecks on a pre‐tax basis.  Effective date of plan begins first of the month following a 30‐day wait period.

  • Dental Insurance

Employees have access to the Access Plus Dental 100 at no additional cost and offers services at reduced fees and network of over 12,000 dentists.

Effective date of plan begins first of the month following a 30‐day wait period.

Employees may elect to participate in a voluntary PPO dental plan offered by Ameritas. Employee contributions are deducted from bi‐weekly paychecks on a pre‐tax basis.

  • Vision Insurance

Employees also have access to Vision Care savings provided by EyeMed.

Effective date of plan begins first of the month following a 30‐day wait period.

Employees may elect to participate in a voluntary PPO vision plan offered by EyeMed. Employee contributions are deducted from bi‐weekly paychecks on a pre‐tax basis.

  • Hearing Service Plan

Employees have savings through California Choice and EPIC on Hearing Tests, Hearing Aids, Hearing Aid batteries, Ear protection, Swim plugs, Musician ear plugs, Hearing aid cleaning supplies and accessories, TV ears, Telephone amplification, Altering and signaling devices as well as discounts on hearing aids.

  • Retirement Savings Plan 401(k)

Employees may participate in the Gerard Group Retirement Savings Plan administered by American Funds. Employees may contribute a percentage of eligible compensation to a traditional or ROTH 401(k), not to exceed the maximum IRS annual limit.

Eligible contributions is six‐months of full‐time service.

  • College Savings Plan

A tax‐advantaged investment vehicle specifically designed for higher education investors. Anyone can open a 529 college savings plan, regardless of how much money they make.

  • CalPerks Program

Gerard Group members may have access to great discounts available through CalPerks such as: AMC Theaters, Budget Car Rentals, Disneyland, LA Galaxy, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Six Flax Magic Mountain and more.   • Leave of Absence

The company may grant a leave of absence to accommodate an employee’s medical, maternity, family or personal needs.
